The beginning

Selecting our natural ingredients

In our soaps we use: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Coconut Milk, Castor Oil, Almond Oil, Pure Essential Oils and Fragrance Oil, Cocoa Butter, Sea Salt, Mica/ Oxides, Sodium Hydroxide (LYE)

Cold Process Soap

Preparing the molds for a long rest

We blend our oils and lye until it thickens. After the mixture reaches a trace state, we add fragrances, colors, spices, herbs, minerals and then pour them in molds. Finally the fun part begins where we let our hearts and creativity take over the process through decoration. All manners of designs inspired by an arctic lifestyle are handcrafted on top of the mold right after the initial pour.

Cutting and Curing

Cutting our soaps and letting them cure

The entirety of the process from beginning to end takes between four to six weeks, the majority of this time is spent resting on shelves right after the initial cut made three days following the decorative stage. The very last step is the packaging, which is also done by hand with all the care one would expect from a holiday present 🙂
